I brought Kylie to class with me today- she fit in nicely :)

Recent Developments

Kylie is growing up so fast! Her top left tooth came in, and the right one is well on its way. This isn't the most flattering picture of her, but I had a hard time getting a picture of her teeth.
Her hair is now long enough to put into pigtails. Yay! She can also stand up (with some help). She hasn't pulled herself up yet, but if you set her next to some kind of furniture, she can balance there for a while. She is now officially a cheerios girl. We gave her cheerios this past Sunday and she was content ALL through church- that is definitely a record! She was pretty wiped out afterwards.
Kylie is now mobile. She still prefers to army crawl everywhere, but now that she can pull herself back up to a sitting position, she can reach things. It's starting...

Cute Kylie

This little girl reminds me everyday what is important in life. I can be having the most stressful day ever, and then I look at that cute little smile and instantly I'm the happiest person on earth.

She LOVES blinds
She still hasn't quite figured out the sippy cup, but we have to give her credit for trying so hard.
*sigh* Whatever keeps her happy...
Josh and Kylie have the sweetest little relationship. Her little face just lights up when he gets home from work- his face lights up almost as much.

Her latest obsession

Under Construction

Well, the condo is slowly being repaired. The areas that were really damaged have been cut out and will be replaced with new sheetrock.

Until then, we have fans blowing non-stop to dry the insulation and they are LOUD! At one time we had 4 of these going in the living room, 1 in our bedroom, and 1 in the bathroom (that made taking a shower very interesting).
Hopefully this will all be fixed in a couple of days...

Just Another Day In Paradise

This afternoon our upstairs neighbor's apartment flooded. A washing machine broke while no one was home, so the water seeped down to the floors below. Yup, that meant ours. What started out as a tiny trickle of water through our smoke detector turned into THIS.
The bathroom ceiling caved in and one wall got completely drenched.

Get this: it even seeped into our living room! Gross.

*sigh* What a day. We're not exactly sure how or when this will all be repaired, but we're interested to find out!
